I really enjoyed my camping here with my family. We had a nice shaded site that was really private. The mountain biking was the best feature of the park although the beach area was really nice too. There was also a nice fishing pond and places to kayak. Our site was a long walk from the bathrooms so watch this if it important to you to be close.
I absolutely love mountain biking here. The trails are fun, challenging, and flow well. The area is fantastic. The woods, the lakes and the overall surroundings make for a peaceful ride.
Rustic camping with plenty of privacy, and lots of nature to see. Well kept washrooms and showers including wheelchair accessible shower. Walking, hiking, horse trails. Does not have water hookups at each site. No path lighting at night.
Got there at 9:30 am after snow all night and main roads had already been plowed. Good job! This is a well maintained facility.
Camp, swim, hike, walk, bird-watch...you name it, you can do it all here! I purchase a recreation passport each year, just to ensure I have unlimited access to its amenities. Its a beautiful state park!
